8:30 am CPI data:
As for the next CPI report, the March inflation figures are slated for release by the BLS on Wednesday, April 12 at 8:30 am Eastern time. The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s “Nowcast” predicts headline inflation to increase by 5.2% year-over-year. For your reference, here are the scheduled CPI release dates:

The economist estimate for the Bank of Canada is to hold its current rate. A press release will provide a brief explanation of the decision. The Bank will also publish its quarterly Monetary Policy Report (MPR) at the same time as the rate decision.
