Dana White Set to Arrange Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg Cage Fight in UFC Octagon
Following a recent back-and-forth verbal sparring on social media, it appears that two of the world's richest and most famous tech billionaires are actually gearing up to fight each other in a 'cage match.'
With Musk suggesting the “Vegas Octagon” as the bout’s potential location and UFC President Dana White just hours ago confirming the two tech titans are “absolutely dead serious about this,” it appears this insane fight might actually be going down.
With Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk and Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) CEO Mark Zuckerberg seemingly set to fight each other in a cage match in the UFC Las Vegas Octagon, most people are now asking the question, How did this all happen?
According to a Twitter post by Mario Nawfal, the catalyst behind the tech billionaires’ push to fight each other is the result of a report claiming Meta is set to release a new “Twitter Rival” social media app called “Threads.” Reportedly, coding on Meta’s latest project, which the company code-named “Project 92,” began three months after Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.

(not making this up!)META, the same company that copied Snapchat, TikTok, StumbleUpon, Foursquare, BeReal and Clubhouse, began coding ‘Project 92’ three months after Elon acquired Twitter.

In what was likely the shot across the bow that ignited the feud, Meta Chief Product Officer Chris Cox, who described Project 92 as the company’s “response to Twitter,” said the following:
“We’ve been hearing from creators and public figures who are interested in having a platform that is sanely run, that they believe that they can trust and rely upon for distribution.”
I’m up for a cage match if he is lol

Zuckerberg, who has been training in the martial art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu for the past year or so, responded to Musk’s challenge yesterday via his Instagram story, saying, “Send Me Location,” a phrase used often by UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.
UFC President Dana White: “This Would Be the Biggest Fight Ever in the History of the World”
Two hours ago, Dana White, President of the UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts league, weighed in on the developing situation. In an interview with TMZ, White disclosed that he spoke with both Musk and Zuckerberg on the phone last night, and the two are “dead serious” about fighting each other in the UFC Octagon.
White went on to explain his thoughts on the potential bout, saying:
“This would be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world. Bigger than anything that’s ever been done, it would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would raise, you know, hundreds of millions of dollars for charity. You don’t have to be a fight fan to be interested in this fight. Everyone would want to see it.”
