data centers around the United States. Mailchimp’s data centers manage physical security 24/7 with
biometric scanners. Mailchimp has DDOS mitigation in place at all of its data centers. Login pages and
logins via the Mailchimp API have brute force protection. Mailchimp offices are secured by keycard
access and biometrics, and they are monitored with infrared cameras throughout. Mailchimp has a
dedicated internal security team that constantly monitors its environment for vulnerabilities. Mailchimp
performs penetration testing and social engineering exercises on its environment and its employees.
Mailchimp’s security team includes OSCP and CISSP-certified members.

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.
